Mashhad , Holy & Religious city. Mashhad is located in Khorasan Razavi province, which is one of the historical and religious cities of Iran.

The main reason for attracting travelers and tourists to this city is the holy shrine of Imam Reza. Mashhad has an area of 1045 square meters, which is one of the largest cities in Iran and its height above sea level is 980 meters.
The climate of this religious city is mild and due to its location in a relatively dry area, it has hot days and cool and pleasant nights.

Nature of Mashhad

1-Mellat Park
Mellat Park is one of the oldest and most popular parks in Mashhad. More than 35,000 beautiful trees and flowers have been planted in the park and there is a lake in the eastern part that has doubled the beauty of the park. Leisure and sports facilities include a football field, basketball, volleyball and outdoor pool. If you are a fan of excitement, you can spend your free time at the funfair and enjoy.



2-Kooh sangi
Kuh-e Sangi is the second largest park in Mashhad after Mellat Park, which is located in the southwest of the city and is one of the most beautiful parks in Iran. Kooh sangi is a combination of water, stone and light, also the great Khorsan museum with its magnificent architecture has given indescribable beauty to this park. Apart from these, we can also mention recreations such as swimming pools, funfair and bird gardens. Another reason that attracts many travelers to this park is the famous restaurants that make good moments by serving delicious traditional food for travelers and tourists.



3-Targhobeh
If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city and you are looking for a place with good weather for fun and relaxation, Torqabeh village is perfect for you. This village is located at a distance of 18 km from Mashhad and has attracted the attention of many people due to its wonderful weather, spectacular villages, beautiful springs and rivers. Torqabeh can be a good place for family and friendly get-togethers. Among the recreations of this village, we can name the ski slope, boating and funfair.



4-Chalidareh
Chalidreh recreation and tourism area is one of the most popular places to spend the free time among the people. This beautiful area is one of the sights of Torqabeh, where the junction of the valley with the river has created a natural attraction. Chalidreh facilities, are numerous like: Restaurant& coffee shop, fishing in the lake, Bungee Jumping and etc.

1-Haram
Have you ever spent the night under the golden lights of the shrine? This place is one of the best nightlife in Mashhad that melts everyone's heart with its spiritual and beautiful atmosphere. In addition, the shrine is composed of many different parts, such as museums, historical clocks, old schools ... that you will never regret seeing them.



2-Bazzar Imam Reza
Reza Bazaar, which is located next to the Holy Shrine, is one of the almost new bazaars related to the Pahlavi era, in the construction of which old elements have been used, and the time of its construction has been considered by travelers and tourists until now. Walking in this indoor market makes you realize how important this market is economically and it is also a very good place to buy goods and interact with people.

The people of Mashhad are warm-hearted and kind people who speak Persian with a Mashhadi dialect. The city is home to various ethnicities, including Arabs, Kurds, Heydars and Baluchi’s. Mashhad, like any other city, has its own customs and culture, which has been famous since ancient times.
