Tehran has over 1,500 historical sites of cultural significance registered with the Cultural Heritage Organization of Iran. The oldest of these in Tehran province are the remains of two sites in Firoozkuh County that date back to the 4th millennium BCE.
The annual average temperature in Tehran is 63 °F with an average annual high of 73 °F and annual lows averaging about 53 °F. Extreme temperatures can reach a maximum of 109 °F in the summer and a minimum of 5 °F in the winter.
As the country’s administrative center and its largest job market, Tehran has continuously grown in size, housing about one-tenth of Iran’s population in the early 21st century. The current metro area population of Tehran in 2020 was 9,135,000.

Nature of Tehran

1-Tochal Mountain
 Tochal Mountain is located in the foothills of the Alborz Mountains in the north part of Tehran. In the resort area, beautiful view, fresh mountain air and clear water have created a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, that’s why this area became an attraction for tourist and local people.

2-Bird Garden
One of the most beautiful and pristine natural and tourist attractions in Tehran is the Bird Garden. The Bird Garden is one of the most popular places in Tehran, which is located among the dense forests of Lavizan. In this park, which is divided into different sections, you can watch the birds up close and feed them. Also, the beautiful and calm atmosphere of this garden has made it a suitable place for families. 3-Damavand Mountain
